F.A.R.M. Cafe

As I was completing my capstone for my Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Public Relations at Appalachian State University, I worked with a group of four others in the program to use our communications and PR knowledge to help a local nonprofit whose message resonated with us. This semester-long assignment allowed me to apply the skills the program taught me by allowing us to create a professional situation analysis, conduct research and use the data gathered to produce a detailed campaign plan. As the account manager, I was in charge of dividing the work, writing executive summaries, designing media graphics, editing the entire plan and carefully developing the campaign strategies and tactics.
